Neb
Who is Neb?
Nobody. Literally: “Neb” is simply Welsh for “nobody”.
There are lots of people called “Neb” on the internet, none of whom have anything to do with the one on Tir Neb. So don’t blame any of them for my ramblings.
“Neb” is also the title of the autobiography of R.S. Thomas. But of course there is no possible reason to confuse anything on this site with the work of one of our finest poets.
“Tir Neb” really is just this little patch of no man’s land, and this “Neb” really is nobody.
